France, a gilt bronze mounted marble lyre clock, the case richly ornamented with classical ornament and with outward facing "le coq gaulois", Arabic numeral white enamel dial with floral garlands, pierced and engraved Louis XV style hands, and pendulum with Medusa mask suspended above the 8 day, time and strike pendule de Paris movement
CONDITION:
marble dirty and with minor repairs, gilding on ornaments good, top ornament missing, one foot loose, dial with discoloration and repairs, pendulum rod a poorly made replacement, crutch and bell stand also poor quality replacements, pendulum ornament bent and with minor loss, ticks and strikes, bell detached
